Our Calgary-based Psychologists, Therapists and Counsellors include:
Creating an environment that is honest, safe, and empathetic is of utmost importance to me. A space like that provides the basis for a trusting therapeutic relationship. Keeping this in mind, my approach is that of a collaborative experience, which centres your story outside of stigma and judgement.
My goal as a therapist is to walk with you in times of chaos, and provide support in a way that builds you up to face life’s challenges. As a therapist, I strive to build the most supportive, compassionate, and judgement-free environment possible. I like to work together during our sessions and incorporate any feedback, in order to build a strong foundation of trust between us. Therefore, the therapeutic direction we take is dependent on what encourages the healing process.
I also recognize that culture, and/or faith may have an important role in your life. As such, I welcome you to bring it in our sessions, as you see fit.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and my cat, Mani (he is a nine year old ragdoll). I love reading (mostly fiction with the occasional non-fiction psychology book). I also love hiking and taking pictures of the mountains and trees (although I’m not a professional photographer by any means). Chocolate anything is my favourite kind of dessert! My favourite movie/tv show genre is horror and sci-fi and my ultimate favourite movie is Interstellar! I have a special place in my heart for astronomy! All things science really fasci……..

Hello, I am Karlynn. I have over a decade of experience as a therapist. My career journey has taken me on many paths, including working in a number of non-for-profits, schools and alongside pediatricians and physicians. My greatest desire is that you feel heard and supported.
My priority is to provide a warm and welcome space. I use a collaborative and integrative approach, using elements of a number of therapeutic modalities. I want to build on existing strengths while creating a plan to help you reach your goals.
Born in Calgary, I have been a world traveller and love to see new places. I enjoy reading books, training Bonsai trees (a skill I learned growing up in Japan), paddle boarding and spending time with my three young adult, adopted daughters.

Hi, my name is Andrew, and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. I am passionate about supporting mental health and reducing the stigma that surrounds it. I believe in developing meaningful therapeutic relationships that include compassion and creativity as core components.
My goal as a counsellor is to make you feel heard and acknowledged, and empower you to be an active collaborator in our sessions. I utilize an intentionally integrative approach to therapy, and value feedback and input from clients throughout the process. I will work with you to create space in which you feel able to be vulnerable, and I am here to support you with the challenges you are experiencing and the changes you desire to make.
In my personal life I enjoy spending time outdoors as much as I can, including activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, and snowshoeing. Other hobbies include spending time with dog, attempting to improve my cooking skills, and dabbling in video games.
Hi, I’m Anita. I am a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience. I know life is full of highs and lows and have experienced many of the agonies that you also may be experiencing: feeling lost and alone in the world, dealing with unspoken family traumas, questioning whether my marriage could survive, sitting at the bedside of a dying loved one, and sleepless nights when I wondered how I would get my children to adulthood. I believe my professional and personal experience equips me to support your through the challenges you are facing. If you are struggling, I want to help.
My goal as a counsellor is to create a safe, comfortable space for you to work through whatever you are going through. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and change. I use a feedback informed, integrative approach to support you in making the changes you desire.
When I am not working, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband, 3 adult children, and my dogs. I love camping, travelling, yoga, puttering in my yard, reading a good book, or spending time among the trees. I believe balance is the key to a fulfilled life, so I am working hard to find that!
Hello, my name is Jess. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. I am committed to providing a compassionate, empathetic space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while helping them navigate life’s challenges. I take a strength-based, holistic approach to therapy, as I recognize the delicate interplay of emotional, psychological, and social factors in each individual’s journey. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, and I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to gain insights, develop coping strategies, and to foster meaningful change.
After 12 years as a teacher, I decided to switch careers because I wanted to do more than what the educational system could support. After spending some time working in the field of addictions and mental health, I decided to pursue training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In my opinion, DBT is a life-changing treatment modality that can be taught and used by individuals of all ages. It was through this training experience that I discovered how much I enjoyed working with eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, trauma, and other comorbid conditions.
Outside work, I enjoy camping in the back of my vehicle, coaching gymnastics, watching movies, and practicing yoga. I also have a Bengal cat named Mynka, who is entertaining to watch! She is very chatty, loves water, and attacks anything that moves – including me!
