Karlynn Wakulchyk

Hello, I am Karlynn. I have over a decade of experience as a therapist. My career journey has taken me on many paths, including working in a number of non-for-profits, schools and alongside pediatricians and physicians. My greatest desire is that you feel heard and supported.

My priority is to provide a warm and welcome space. I use a collaborative and integrative approach, using elements of a number of therapeutic modalities. I want to build on existing strengths while creating a plan to help you reach your goals.

Born in Calgary, I have been a world traveler and love to see new places. I enjoy reading books, training Bonsai trees (a skill I learned growing up in Japan), and paddle boarding. I also enjoy spending time with my adopted children and my 3 Japanese spaniels. Good food is also near to my heart and I enjoy all kinds of various dishes from around the world.

Areas of Focus: Trauma, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) in children/teens, depression, anxiety, adoption, parenting, grief and loss, life transitions, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), self-esteem, coping skills, stress management, narcissistic abuse.
