FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What types of therapy do you offer?
We provide individual therapy for adults, teens, and children, as well as couples therapy and family counselling. Our compassionate therapists are experienced in a range of approaches and tailor each session to meet your unique needs.
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to grow and better understand yourself or your relationships, counselling can provide the support and tools you need. We offer a free meet-and-greet session to help you decide if Clearview Counselling is the right fit for you.
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity to share your story, explore your goals, and begin building a trusting relationship with your therapist. We focus on creating a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard and understood.
Do you offer therapy for children and teens?
Yes, we work with children and teens in a way that’s age-appropriate, engaging, and supportive. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, school stress, or emotional challenges, our therapists are here to help them thrive.
How can couples therapy help our relationship?
Couples therapy provides a neutral space to address challenges, improve communication, and deepen your connection. Whether you’re navigating conflict, life transitions, or simply want to reconnect, we’ll help you strengthen your bond as partners.
How do I book a free meet-and-greet session?
Booking a free meet-and-greet is simple—just contact us through our website or give us a call. During this session, we’ll discuss your needs and explain how we can support you on your journey.
Are sessions confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. We will not share information about you with anyone unless you have given us permission to do so except in very limited instance where we are required to do so. This would include if you were at imminent risk of taking your own life or hurting someone else, if a child were at risk, or if we were legally compelled to share your information. It is our priority to provide you with a safe and private space for you to share openly, so the limits of confidentiality is something we will discuss in detail when we begin to work together.
What therapeutic approaches do your therapists use?
Every therapist at Clearview Counselling is trained in multiple evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches. This allows us to ensure therapy is tailored to your needs and preferences.
What makes Clearview Counselling different?
At Clearview Counselling, we are more than therapists—we are compassionate human beings dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful growth. We take pride in providing a supportive, non-judgmental environment where healing and transformation can thrive.
